Here is our SLIPCOVER process in a nutshell:

 

Step 1: SUBMIT AN INQUIRY THROUGH OUR CONTACT PAGE

We will follow up with a Welcome Brochure and Questionnaire.

Upload a picture of your piece(s), rough measurements and as much detail as possible about what you would like. We will respond with questions, suggestions, and provide a proposal and cost estimate for the project. 

 

Step 2: CHOOSE YOUR FABRIC

After approving the initial proposal and submitting a deposit, it’s time for the fun part: CHOOSING YOUR FABRIC! We offer tons of fabrics through several preferred vendors. See our fabric page for more info.

We can make suggestions, mail you samples or have you in to our workshop for a fabric consultation! 

When you purchase your fabric through us… 

~We ensure it’s suitable for your needs and our sewing machines. 

~All our vendors offer content info, care instructions, and warrantees on their fabric.

~Our full service is taxed at the Maine sales tax rate of 5.5%.

When provide your own fabric… 

~ We reserve the right to charge a COM (customers own fabric) fee or labor mark up depending on fabric choice and its level of difficulty. 

~ We will not take responsibility for any issues that arise as a result of the fabric i.e too thick, too thin, marks, stains, abrasions etc. 

~Our labor is subject to 6% service tax. 

 

Step 3: INITIAL FITTING

Once fabric is in we can schedule an initial fitting where we come out to the site to fit the piece(s.) *In some cases we may have you drop off and pick up at our shop. 

 

Step 4: FINAL DELIVERY

Upon completion. We will reach out to schedule a final delivery where we will put the new cover on and make sure it fits snug and proper.
